At Water’s Edge
Explore the world from a new perspective
I am a water traveller with a passion for somewhat unusual watercraft: pedal kayaks, rowing kayaks, sailing and pedal trimarans, and small boats. My journey is slow, solitary, far from the frenetic pace that characterises today's travel. I love exploring the most unspoilt corners that can only be reached by small boats, meeting authentic, generous people who live at the relaxed pace of yesteryear, far from the chaos of the modern world. My rule is to travel in silence with as little impact as possible, completely self-sufficient in terms of energy. For me, the true meaning of travel is not the destination, but the journey itself, made up of: extended time, chance encounters and personal challenges. It is a deep need for authentic contact with wild nature, the kind that regenerates body and spirit.

Who I am
New ideas and projects:
Discovering the Neretva Valley

Setting off to explore the Neretva Valley, on the border between Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, means immersing yourself in a rare and precious river ecosystem.
The Naretva River is the common thread running through my exploration; a vital artery, guardian of natural, human and historical transformations that have been intertwining for centuries. Through a slow and intimate journey by kayak, from a unique and rarely documented perspective, I will immerse myself in a little-explored route, among rivers, lagoons and lakes, but also within myself, amid difficulties, solitude and emotions.

Trieste (Italy)-Preveza (Greece)
In September 2026, I will set sail from Monfalcone on my Hobie Adventure Island trimaran with the aim of reaching Preveza, Greece. I have already attempted this route once, but unfavourable weather conditions and lack of time forced me to stop in Dubrovnik. This time, I have decided to take more time, setting off around 24 August, and I plan to reach Dubrovnik by 7 September.

From there, I will sail down the coast of Montenegro and then Albania (more challenging due to the lack of shelter and few safe harbours), aiming to complete this part by 20 September, before the arrival of the autumn low-pressure systems that bring sirocco winds that are particularly hostile to my route.
Laguna tours in spring and autumn

Experience a unique and unforgettable adventure exploring the most unspoilt corners of the lagoon aboard single pedal kayaks, which are extremely stable and ideal even for those with little experience. The tours are designed for small groups of up to 2 participants, ensuring an exclusive and personalised experience. Departure is at dawn, when darkness still envelops the lagoon, to admire the sunrise: one of the most magical and evocative moments of the day. We will glide gently through crystal-clear waters, reeds and hidden corners, reaching places that can only be explored by small boats. During the tour, you will be able to observe numerous species of animals and birds up close, immersed in their natural habitat, for a true immersion in nature. The tour is suitable for anyone who can swim and is reasonably fit.

We provide comfortable and safe kayaks, accompanied by an expert guide who will accompany you throughout the excursion. At the end of the experience, those who wish can stop to enjoy local flavours in the characteristic restaurants of the lagoon. A special opportunity to combine adventure, nature and relaxation in the beautiful setting of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia lagoon.
